This is a Jeep CJ that Pete Maxey built an entire custom console and speaker pods for. As you can see it has a nice storage area and cup holders, but it also houses the cd player, amplifier & subwoofer in a very secure way. One of the biggest challenges in a Jeep is keeping all of your valuables and electronics safe. This design meets both of those requirements.
This is a 1969 Camaro in which we installed a totally updated audio system. In addition, we also custom built a new console. We’ll add a future post with final pictures of the car very soon. So check back! FOR LARGER VIEW CLICK HERE
For 2009, we decided that our Scion xB show car needed a little makeover. Previously we were running Focal Speakers that were powered by ARC Audio Amps. Then for bass we were pushing two ARC 8″ Subs under the passenger and driver seats, and two ARC 12″ Subs in a custom fiberglass / suede finish enclosure.
Well, for 09′ we’ve retired the ARC Audio equipment (which is currently for sale), and we’ve turned to Memphis Car Audio. Now we’re using one Memphis MC4.75 (a 4 Channel Class AB 4×75 watt amp) and one MC1.1100 (a Mono Block Class D 1×1100 watt amp). ENOUGH OF THE TECHY STUFF! The most important thing is the sound…. how does it sound? Well, it’s clean and oh so loud. The 12″ Memphis Mojo Sub will knock your socks off, and the massive bass that’s produced is inescapable. But don’t take my word for it, if you’re around Greenville or Easley sometime. Come by and check it out, if you don’t hear it on the road first!

Carlos built this really cool center console with the Clemson Tiger Paw. The console actually housed a subwoofer. On top of the rear fender welds, Carlos built a pair of speaker pods for 6.5″ speakers. The speakers and subwoofer were powered by a Alpine PDX-5 installed under the seat.
